Illustration Friday: Insect

Well, it's time for a new Illustration Friday. Today's offering is a piece called Beetlemania 2, companion piece to Beetlemania 1. The wallpaper - I am sure we had something like that on a wall in my house when I was a child! Ah..does that mean my parents were mod? Whatever the case may be, I love what you've done here. It is pretty scary, but in the best way. You sure do like to make us take a few extra looks:>>>

very different from what you have been posting lately. For some reason ( the color?) it reminds me of the illustrations on the covers of Penguin paperbacks circa 1960.
Anyways, I lke it.
